With the season changing and the unbearable heat that the summer brought starting to subside, the arrival of fall in the Dallas area is more than welcomed. The season kicked off with the historic "Blood Moon", a rare astronomical event where a total lunar eclipse and a supermoon happened in the same night. Hopefully you had a chance to witness the event as the next time one is estimated to occur wont be until 2033, but keep your fingers crossed. Autumn is made up of all things pumpkin spiced, spooky, fermented, and sprinkled in rustic hues of reds, oranges and browns. In true Dallas form, the city has rolled out some pretty BIG events to celebrate the season. Whether your looking to indulge your taste buds, take your kids out for a spooky good time, or looking for ghoulish family fun, Dallas has you covered.
